I had a special order for a solid Walnut case for a Sansui G-8700DB. I decided to make a second case with Sapele, and this is for sale. It is new. It was built to follow the original factory structure, with improvements. This is handmade bookmatched case (9mm thick), no CNC used. The air vents have a graduated spacing pattern to give a cool 70's look. These vents are cut out of the solid top panel. They are not glued in. The finish is handmixed Blonde Shellac (BT&C dewaxed flakes). The case is very strong and stiff. Unlike the OEM case that is thinner plywood and bends ... this case will not flex much. But it flex enough that with care, you can fit on the chassis for a good fit. You can see in one picture that this case was test fitted on that original G-8700DB.

This item does not come with the plastic side bezel or hardware. If you ship your plastic bezel to me, I will install it for free. Those bezels are glued in place and not easy to remove. But I can talk you through the process if needed.

NOTE: Please contact me before buying. I will need to calculate the shipping cost to your location. I can only ship within the US, due to risks with international shipping at the moment.
